It is very important that the contact person is able to open attachements that are sent to the contact email address (see below). If an email address is not specified in the entry then we will ignore that entry.
We must receive your entry email by noon on October 7th. We cannot accept late entries under any circumstances. Unfortunately we cannot acknowledge receipt of every entry. However, we will post a list of participating schools on the website. This list will be updated every 2 or 3 days.
We will post one copy of each of the contest papers to the contact person, together with the marking key. You will have to make as many photocopies of the papers as you will need. The contest should take place in your school on the afternoon of Thursday October 16th. Contestants have 1 hour to attempt the 20 multiple choice problems.
Before the day of the contest, we will email two blank spreadsheets to the contact email address. Each school is responsible for submitting their own marks by filling in the spreadsheets and returning it to us by October 30th. As we receive the marks we will enter them into our database and our website will display the names of the top 100 or so students in each category along with the names of the best students in each school.
