GY301: BSc in Computing
A four year honours degree available to students as part
of the undenominated Science degree

COMPUTING is a four year honours science degree. Students take
Computer Science as a first year subject, along
with three other subjects. The three subjects will be one of
Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Experimental
Physics, Chemistry, or Earth and Ocean Sciences.
Through each of the four years of study, many of the core computing
modules are in common with the denominated degree in Computing
Studies and Mathematical Sciences (GY306), but students may take
options from other disciplines, or indeed further specialist courses
in computing and information technology.
