Courses & Focused Workshops

To pursue its objectives the Statistical Modelling Society co-organizes Focused Workshops and supports Short Courses on topics relevant to statistical modelling.

Past events that were jointly organized with the Statistical Modelling Society are

• International Workshop on Spatio-Temporal Modelling (METMA3),
  Pamplona, Spain, September 27-29, 2006.
• Survival of the fittest. Workshop on Time to Event Analysis in Biostatistics, Economics, and Related Fields,
  Bielefeld, Germany, June 24-26, 2004.

Members of the Statistical Modelling Society who are interested in organising a Focused Workshop or a Short Course and plan to seek support by the Society should send an inquiry to secretary@statmod.org. Guidelines for the application for support of Short Courses can be found here.

Furthermore, there are a few proposals for Short Courses that had been submitted in the past:

• An Introduction to Bayesian Statistics with Application in Biostatistics and Epidemiology,
