SUMS is a free drop in support centre for students taking any course affiliated with NUI, Galway. SUMS opens from 2pm to 5pm Monday to Friday during term time, with Friday afternoons dedicated to current Access/Foundation students, students who have come to University through Access/Foundation entry routes, and Mature Students.

How does SUMS work?

Prepare for your visit as much as possible. Bring along all relevant lecture/tutorial notes. Try to identify particular areas where you are experiencing difficulty. Then come along and our team of tutors will assist you.

SUMS will not provde any of the following

• Solutions to homework assignments.
• Solutions to past exam papers.
