NEW COLLABORATION

We are delighted to acknowledge a new research collaboration with the Centre for the Mathematics of Symmetry and Computation (CMSC) at the University of Western Australia (director: Professor Cheryl Praeger). The collaboration will be developed in both main areas of our activity: computational group theory and combinatorics. We acknowledge support of the Australian Research Council, and Science Foundation Ireland (under the STTF programme).

Congratulations to Ronan Egan, who was awarded an inaugural NUI Galway Hardiman Scholarship. Ronan joined the group in September 2011, and will work on a PhD in Algebraic Design Theory supervised by Dane Flannery.
