Interests:
My main research interests are in algebra, optimisation and combinatorics and in applying the
tools and language of these areas to problems in other pure & applied areas like discrete geometry,
algebraic geometry, data protection and financial mathematics. The converse, namely, the latter
areas reflecting back to good examples and new theorems in algebra and optimisation is also highly
pertinent. Finally, viewing the modern computer as a mathematical laboratory, I make extensive
use of computational algebra packages to mold questions and to efficiently test conjectures.
