I am lecturer in Mathematics at NUI Galway. My research interests are mostly concerned the analysis of numerical schemes for differential equations. I teach courses in Mathematics at all undergraduate and postgraduate levels; many of these courses have an emphasis on computational mathematics During the current academic year, by administrative responsibilities include (the rather pleasant task of) co-organising our mathematics seminars. I am one of the organisers of the 6thde Brún Workshop on Linear Algebra and Matrix Theory, 3rd-7th December 2012

Research

My area of research is Numerical Analysis. I am particularly interested in the design and analysis of numerical methods for singularly perturbed differential equations, and in the application of novel methods in numerical modelling.
