I am lecturer in Mathematics at NUI Galway. My research interests are mostly concerned the analysis of numerical schemes for differential equations. I teach courses in Mathematics at all undergraduate and postgraduate levels; many of these courses have an emphasis on computational mathematics During the current academic year, by administrative responsibilities include (the rather pleasant task of) co-organising our mathematics seminars. Research

My area of research is Numerical Analysis. I am particularly interested in the design and analysis of numerical methods for singularly perturbed differential equations, and in the application of novel methods in numerical modelling. For more details, see my research page.

• Myself and Michael Mc Gettrick are the organisers of the mathematics seminars during the current academic year.
