The literature on minimality results in topology abounds with various ad hoc methods of approach. For some expansive properties the technique of intersecting a given topology with a suitably chosen principal ultratopology proves successful. However, for others it does not. The purpose of this talk is to develop an unifying technique which will work for all expansive topological invariants.
